Finding the light in dark times

Darkness can be scary – just think about a child lying in the dark. We don’t see anything and it scares us...even when we know where the objects are located where there's light.

In this week's parsha , Hashem (G.od) sent the plague of darkness. Egyptians could not see or move at all.   Sometimes, we also feel like we can't move and we're in a dark place.

What is the lesson for us? What does this darkness represent and how do we fight it?  How do we bring more light into the world when everything seems so bleak and dark around us?

Unfortunately, this subject is very relevant today. Our brothers and sisters are still hostages from hamas. We pray Hashem that they see the light of day immediately, now.

Am Israel Chai!

The rape of Dina and the silence of the world

In this Parsha, Dina is raped and the world is silent...what is the Jewish response? Again, we see that this week's Torah reading,  has special relevance to anything that happens nowadays.

Let's dwelve together in parshat Vayishlach:)

Parshat Vayetze: overcoming challenges

Where can we find strength to overcome challenges and move forward? In this parsha, we see all the challenges and difficulties Jacob experiences and despite those, he keeps going and gives life to the Jewish people. This is a story of resilience and love, the footprint for our generation.
